blackie’s secret, part deux

A few more pics of Blackie’s brood. These shots remind us a bit of “photo day” back in elementary school! Can you tell which one looks especially feisty? Remember, these fuzzy felines, as well as their mother, Blackie (and many others) are in need of good homes, so if you know someone who’s looking for a fuzzy friend, here’s the scoop…
homelesskitties.org is the place to visit. Kim at HKO says that grey, black, and tabby ones are especially in need of homes.
blackie’s secret

Well, we finally have an update on Blackie. She had a secret–she was pregnant! This is a pic of the little secrets, note the
preponderance of siameses–which Wubert had absolutely nothing to do with. (It seems there’s a flame point siamese Tom running loose in the neighborhood.)
Thanks again to the invaluable help of Kim from Homeless Kitties
(homelesskitties.org) who is taking care of Blackie and her new brood. If you are interested in adding a feline fuzz to your family, she’s got aplenty!
Kim says the grey, black, and tabby ones are especially in need of homes. We’ll post more pics shortly.

A huge “THANK YOU!” to Kim at Homelesskitties.org. Kim is tireless in her efforts to help get homeless kittens and cats spayed/neutered and off the streets. We talked to Kim about our “visitors” and she came over and picked up the kittens. We’re hoping that this is the first step to the fuzzy felines finding good homes. Though we still need to catch the mother [she's a tricky one, she is] we’re so grateful that we were able to get into contact w/ Kim. Thanks, Kim!
In need of a fuzzy friend? Visit the HomelessKitties.org web site and adopt a cat today! Tell ‘em Wubert sent ya (and they’ll say, “Wubert Who?”)

A neighborhood cat we see from time to time appeared outside our complex w/ four kittens in tow! We’ve had little luck finding cat rescue societies to help w/ the little ones. It seems that they’re all busy/full up at this time of year. Because of this, we’re now trying to find a “friends to ferals” group that can foster and socialize them, or at least catch and spay/neuter the cat and her kittens. Blackie (the mom) is already friendly, she tries to come in the house and live with Wubert!
