Hi, Wubert.
If you were here, then you would understand what I mean… trust me. On Sundays, most everything closes at 5 as usual, but every other day, except Thursday, they close at 6:00 P.M. This is absolutely bizarre and when I asked them about it, they said it’s because that’s how we wanted it. Ummmm… I don’t think they actually wanted supermarkets and malls to close just after they finish working for the day! Crazy Brits.
They do have mice around here, for sure, but more in the London Underground (the subway system here), so you’d have to be quick and be able to jump high so you can escape the trains as they come along. However, the countryside would be good for you, especially at nighttime when the mice are most likely to come around.
I like how you have vocal abilities and claws as your currency. My old Siamese cat, Chang (He died three years ago.), did the same thing. We knew when he was hungry, especially at 3:00 A.M. when he woke us all up with his constant meowing. However, I had to train my parents not to feed him so much as he got fat and needed exercise. That’s just like people, though… they don’t know when to stop eating so much and when to start exercising. He was a good cat, though.
Anyway, back to doing my Ph.D. in mathematics. Yay math… oh wait. It’s mathS here. Crazy Brits. Talk to you later (P.S. MEOW!).
Justin
P.S. I tried to reply earlier via my Blogspot, but it didn’t work (I replied to my own message. =:-D).

Chang sounds like a good guy with many admirable qualities. I’ve heard about country mice from others; they seem a bit too “rural” to me. I prefer my mice w/ scrolling wheels and usb connections. I don’t know what I’d do w/ a mouse that ran around by itself!
